Mark Curlett begins his 10th season as head golf coach at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith.

He has been a professional golf instructor for more than twenty years and a certified PGA Class "A" member for 18 years. He has conducted his own golf schools in Northwest Arkansas since 1999 and previously served as the head golf professional at both Hardscrabble Country Club in Fort Smith and at Eagle Crest Golf Course in Alma, Ark.

Curlett is currently a Chapter Teaching Professional for the First Tee organization and serves on the board of directors for the Ben I. Mayo Junior Golf Championship.

He has logged past service as the Arkansas PGA Junior Tour Director for Northwest Arkansas, served on the board of directors of the American Cancer Society and hosted summer instructional series on the local ABC and CBS television network affiliates.
