Tiffany Swoffard

    Tiffany Swoffard begins her fourth season as assistant women’s basketball coach. 
   The Chattanooga, Tenn., native was a graduate assistant coach at Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J., before joining Lady Lions coach Louis Whorton’s staff. 
    Swoffard is highly-regarded as a recruiter with an extensive background in AAU basketball, having worked in the prestigious Georgia Elite AAU organization. During her first season, Swoffard held guide the Lady Lions to a 34-2 win-loss record — the second-most wins in school history — the Bi-State Conference East Division title, the NJCAA Region II tournament championship and a third-place finish in the national tournament. 
    Swoffard is a 1998 graduate of Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences and a 2002 graduate of Austin Peay University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a emphasis in marketing. 
    At Austin Peay, Swoffard played basketball for four seasons. She helped lead the Lady Governors to back-to-back Ohio Valley Conference tournament championships and consecutive NCAA tournament appearances (2000-02). 
    Swoffard spent three years coaching the Georgia Metros AAU basketball team before joining the staff of Rowan University as a graduate assistant, earning a master’s degree in business administration. 
    At UA Fort Smith, Swoffard is in charge of monitoring player academics, player development, strength training, scheduling, scouting and film exchange and assists with recruiting and on-the-floor instruction. 
    In addition to her coaching duties, Swoffard is an instructor in UA Fort Smith’s College of Business.
