Chad Rickett begins his second season as assistant women's basketball coach.
Rickett was previously the head girls basketball coach at Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart in Houston, Texas, the past two seasons and assistant coach there for two seasons prior to that.
The 30-year-old Houston native boasts a wealth of collegiate coaching experience, too.
Rickett was director of basketball operations at the NCAA Division I University Houston for two seasons (2007-09) and assistant coach there for one season (2009-10).
He also served as assistant coach at Grayson County College for one season (2010-11).
During his two seasons as head girls basketball coach at Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, Rickett guided the Chargers to a combined 49-14 win-loss record, including a 28-win season this past year.
