SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Tennis saw its 2025 season come to a close Wednesday with a 4-0 loss to top-seeded Washburn in the opening round of the MIAA/GAC Tournament at the Cooper Tennis Complex.

The Ichabods won at Nos. 2 & 3 doubles to take the doubles point, while Eduardo Bribiesca and Anis Ramchane went unfinished in a 4-5 match at the top flight against the No. 1 ranked doubles team.

In singles, Ramchane lost a pair of sets, 5-7, 5-7 at No. 3 while Juan Rosello suffered at 1-6, 5-7 setback at No. 2.

The Ichabods won the match in a tightly contested match at No. 1, as No. 35 Bribiesca won the first set before falling, 7-6, 2-6, 2-6 to No. 4 ranked Tim Hammes. The remaining three singles matches went unfinished. 

UAFS concludes its season with a 6-13 overall record.
