FORT SMITH, Ark. – The University of Arkansas - Fort Smith tennis teams continued nonconference play Saturday, taking on Southwest Baptist at The Hangout Fort Smith.

Petra Csizmadia battled at No. 1 singles before falling, 3-6, 6-3, 0-6 while Antonietta Bocache also went three sets at No. 4, but was defeated 4-6, 7-6, 4-6. UAFS scored its lone point at No. 6 with a win by default in a 6-1 loss to the Bearcats.

On the men's side, Juan Rosello earned the lone point in a 6-1 defeat with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles. Kevin Praphan went the distance at No. 6, but was defeated, 2-6, 6-3, 1-0.

Anis Ramchane and Killian Darneaux won at No. 1 doubles while the Bearcats claimed the other two doubles matches for the point.

Up next for the Lions is a visit to Oral Roberts on March 6 at 2 p.m.
