ARLINGTON, Texas - University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Men's Tennis saw its season come to a close Friday with a 4-0 defeat by top-seeded UT Tyler in the semifinals of the Lone Star Conference Tournament at the Arlington Tennis Center.

The Patriots picked up wins at Nos. 2 & 3 doubles to earn the doubles point, then won the first three singles matches to advance to Saturday.

The final three matches went unfinished, but Juan Patino had won the first set in his No. 5 singles match.

UAFS advanced to its first LSC semifinal in program history after defeating Lubbock Christian Thursday and finishes the season 6-12.
