FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Volleyball heads back on the road this week for the Lone Star Conference Crossover, playing three matches on the campus of Dallas Baptist.
The Lady Lions are slated to play UT Permian Basin at 3 p.m. Thursday, host DBU at 6 p.m. Friday and St. Mary's at 3 p.m. Saturday. DBU is one of four hosts for this weekend's crossover event.

NOTES:
LAST WEEK: UAFS ventured up to Fairbanks, Alaska, to play in the Denali State Bank Ice Block Classic. The Lions went 2-2, defeating Black Hills State and Findlay before being defeated by Alaska Anchorage and Alaska Fairbanks.
ALL-TOURNAMENT: Outside hitter Reagan Macha was selected to the All-Tournament team for the second straight weekend after hitting .251 with a team-high 61 kills. She posted two double-doubles and had double-figure kills in all four matches. She hit .349 with 17 kills in a win over Findlay and hit .311 and tied a career-high with 19 kills against No. 20 Alaska Anchorage. Macha added 36 digs, nine aces and three blocks on the weekend, as well.
.240: UAFS is 5-0 when holding its opponents below a .240 attack percentage and 0-3 when an opponent hits above .240.
ON THE ROAD AGAIN: UAFS is in the third of four consecutive weeks on the road to start the season.
SCOUTING UTPB: The Falcons are 4-4 after going 1-3 last weekend. Outside hitter Aquincia Strambler leads UTPB with 3.26 kills per set and a .271 attack percentage. Defensively, libero Daylee Doggett is averaging 4.33 digs per set.
SCOUTING DBU: The Patriots improved to 6-2 after going 4-0 last week at the Steel City Showcase. DBU leads the league in attack percentage at .272, led by outside hitter AJ Koele at 4.88 kills per set and a .294 attack percentage. Setter Lauryn Burt is the reigning LSC Setter of the Week.
SCOUTING STMU: St. Mary's bounced back from an 0-5 start to win their last three matches last week at the UCO/OC Festival. The Rattlers utilize a pair of setters but rank 15th in the league in kills per set. Libero Alyssa Koehl averages 3.71 digs per set for the Rattlers.
THE SERIES: The Lions are 17-0 against UTPB, 20-3 versus DBU and 21-4 all-time against St. Mary's.
