FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Volleyball heads back on the road this weekend to Valdosta, Georgia, for four matches in the Valdosta State Fall Tournament Friday and Saturday.
The Lady Lions will face Albany State at 8 a.m. Friday followed by Valdosta State at 4 p.m. Saturday, UAFS will play Saint Leo at 8 a.m. and Eckerd College at noon. All times listed are central time.

NOTES:
LAST WEEK: UAFS went 3-1 in its season opening tournament at West Texas A&M. The Lady Lions defeated Fort Lewis College, Southwestern Oklahoma State and Adams State before dropping the finale to host West Texas A&M.
PRICE IS RIGHT: Setter Chloe Price earned a spot on the All-Tournament team at the BritKare Lady Buff Classic after averaging 8.71 assists per set. In her first match as a Lady Lion, Price nearly recorded a triple-double, tallying 35 assists, 12 digs, seven kills and four blocks. In a win against Adams State, she recorded another double-double with 45 assists and 11 digs to go with seven aces.
BLOCK PARTY: UAFS led the LSC over the weekend with 2.59 blocks per set. The Lady Lions had 14 solo blocks and 60 assisted blocks for a total of 44. That number ranks 23rd nationally. Middle blockers Hannah Holland and Chyra Thompson have 19 and 14 blocks, respectively.
COMING UP ACES: The Lady Lions are second in the LSC with 2.18 aces per set for 37 total aces. Setter Chloe Price leads the Lions with 12 aces, and had seven in a win over Adams State.
SEEING DOUBLE: Outside hitter Paola Fragalle recorded double digit kills in all four matches last weekend, with a high of 12 versus Southwestern Oklahoma State. She had 10 in each of the other three matches. She also had two double-doubles, recording 16 digs in a win over Fort Lewis.
699: Head Coach Jane Sargent is currently in her 24th season at the helm of the Lady Lions with 699 career victories. She can join a list of just over 60 collegiate coaches to achieve 700 career wins.
RECORD WATCH: Libero Lexy Lewis moved into 9th on the all-time digs list after totaling 69 digs over four matches last weekend. She has 731 career digs.
FIRST TIME MEETINGS: UAFS will play three opponents for the first time this weekend in Albany State, Eckerd College and Valdosta State. UAFS played Saint Leo back in 2015.
