FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Volleyball closes the regular season at the Stubblefield Center this week, hosting Cameron University Tuesday and Wednesday.
First serve for both matches is 6 p.m.
General admission tickets are on sale at the UAFS Box Office for both matches. The matches will be streamed live on the Lone Star Conference Digital Network with live stats available at uafortsmithlions.com.
NOTES:
LAST WEEK: UAFS split its home matchups with Midwestern State, dropping the first match, 3-2, before bouncing back to win match two, 3-1.
LSC NORTH: The Lady Lions have clinched the top seed in the LSC North Division via tiebreakers and will host the opening round and quarterfinals of the LSC Tournament. They can win the division outright with one win over Cameron this week.
OFFENSE RETURNS: The Lady Lions had their highest hitting percentage in match two last week since defeating Oklahoma Christian in early February. UAFS hit .262 in the 3-1 win over Midwestern State after being held under .200 in the previous three matches.

THIRD TIMES THE CHARM: UAFS and Cameron were slated to meet at the Stubblefield Center to open the spring season, but got postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. Rescheduled for February, the matches were again postponed due to weather, setting up the matches for this week.
PREVIOUSLY: UAFS swept Cameron in each matchup earlier this season on the road.
SCOUTING CAMERON: The Aggies have lost six in a row to fall to 2-8, 2-8 LSC on the year. Junior outside hitter Alanni Carter leads the Aggies with 2.90 kills per set while hitting .133. Defensively, freshman defensive specialist Presley Shearin averages 4.0 digs per set. Six players have accumulated at least 15 blocks.
THE SERIES: UAFS leads the all-time series 6-1, having won the last four matchups.
