CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Men's Tennis bounced back from its first loss of the season Tuesday with a 9-0 win over NCAA III foe University of the Ozarks Thursday afternoon.
The Lions (2-1) had no trouble with the Eagles in doubles action, winning 8-1, 8-2, and 8-1.
In singles action, Zach Delmonico had a clean sheet at number five with a 6-0, 6-0 win. At three and four, Ethan Eddleman and Nicolas Retamales earned 6-1, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-1 wins, respectively.
Wian Van Dyk cruised a number one singles, winning 6-2, 6-0. At number six, Andrew Anderson dispatched his opponent, 6-1, 6-3.
Daniel Borrero was tested at number two singles, but prevailed with a 6-4, 6-3 victory to finish off the sweep for the Lions.
