Box Score LAWTON, Okla. – Cameron University earned its first conference win of the season Friday by defeating University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Volleyball in four sets, 14-25, 23-25, 25-10, 15-25.
After falling behind 2-0 and allowing the Aggies to hit .324 in set one, UAFS dominated set three by hitting .458. However, Cameron hit .304 in the fourth set to take down the Lady Lions.
Libero Jazzlyn Wells led UAFS with 23 digs while defensive specialist Lexy Lewis added 11 digs. Offensively, outside hitter Savannah Wharton hit .290 with a team-high 12 kills. Setter Chloe Alderson had 26 assists.
UAFS plays its final road game of the regular season Saturday at 2 p.m. at Midwestern State.
