FORT SMITH, Ark. – University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Volleyball enters this weekend's road trip with a chance to start a winning streak as it visits Eastern New Mexico and West Texas A&M.
UAFS will take on the Greyhounds of Eastern New Mexico at 7 p.m. central time Friday and have a first serve at West Texas A&M at 2 p.m. Saturday.

NOTES:
LAST WEEK: UAFS 2-0 last weekend, sweeping Western New Mexico before defeating UT Permian Basin in five sets at Gayle Kaundart Arena at the Stubblefield Center.
BACK-TO-BACK: The Lady Lions won back-to-back matches last week for the first time since starting the season 3-0.
AT THE NET: UAFS is third in the LSC with 2.11 blocks per set. Middle blocker Chyra Thompson is fourth in the league at 0.94 blocks per set. Both ENMU and WTAMU also rank in the top five of the LSC in blocks.
ACES WILD: UAFS leads the LSC in aces with 1.80 per set. Their 119 aces on the year is 20 more than second-place Texas Woman's 99.
BALANCED ATTACK: UAFS has five players with more than 65 kills this season.
WE MEET AGAIN: This will be the second meeting this season between UAFS and West Texas A&M. The Lady Buffs won the first matchup in four sets as part of the BritKare Lady Buff Classic.
RECORD WATCH: Libero Lexy Lewis is currently tied with Bailey Katzfey for 7th on the all-time UAFS digs list with 855 career digs. She is seven digs behind Autumn Reese for 6th.
THE SERIES: UAFS swept the only matchup with the Greyhounds back in 2015. West Texas A&M leads the series 5-3 after winning a nonconference matchup earlier this season.
SCOUTING ENMU: The Greyhounds are just 1-14, 1-6 LSC coming into the weekend and have lost six in a row. Outside hitter Jasmine Gannon leads ENMU with 2.75 kills per set and 2.85 digs per set.
SCOUTING WT: West Texas A&M has won six matches in a row and comes into the weekend at 12-2, 6-1 LSC. Ranking near the top of the league in multiple categories, the Lady Buffs are led by outside hitter Torrey Miller's 4.00 kills per set. Three-time LSC Libero of the Year Chandler Vogel leads the WTAMU back row with 4.88 digs per set.
