The University of Arkansas Fort Smith Lady Lions have swept the season series against Cameron University Aggies in their second matchup of the week. The Lady Lions defeated the Aggies in three sets by scores of 25-20, 25-20, and 25-17. UAFS (10-2, 4-0) remained atop the LSC with the win.
Ofensivelly, the Lady Lions were led by
Anna Demmer with 14 kills and
Lexie Johnston with 12 kills. As a team, UAFS performed at a high level once again with 0.351 hitting percentage. Defensively, the Lady Lions held the Aggies to 0.216 hitting percentage and allow 33 kills total.
The Lady Lions are now 4-1 in all-time series against the Aggies.
The volleyball weekend continues at the Stubblefield center as the Lady Lions are facing Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm on Saturday at 2p.m. UAFS will be looking to end the non-conference play with a win.
