After another conference sweep on the road, UAFS (5) Volleyball team is back in the friendly confines of Stubblefield Center for a conference homestand against Western New Mexico (6-16, 4-10) and UT Permian Basin (10) (17-6, 9-5). The Lady Lions will begin the weekend against the Mustangs at 6 p.m. on Friday at Stubblefield Center.
As a team UAFS are hitting a .263 clip with 1194 kills on 3186 attempts and 357 errors.
Anna Demmer leads the Lady Lions in kills (320) followed by
Lexie Johnston (253) and
Rachel Williams (237) while
Amanda Van Wyk added 898 assists so far this season.
Defensively, the Lady Lions are holding their opponents to a .155 hitting percentage with 1055 kills on 3349 attempts and 535 errors. Johnston leads the Lady Lions with 96 blocks while
Lexy Lewis leads UAFS in digs (347) followed by Van Wyk (286) and Demmer (275).
This weekend's homestand is the final chance for the fans to see the Lady Lions in action and celebrate senior night for six different players -

Erin Black,
Laryssa Correa, and
