After their first loss at the Subblefield Center against Southern Nazarene, the Lady Lions (10-3, 4-0) are looking to bounce back against their LSC rivals - DBU (9-6, 2-2) and Tarleton (8-4, 3-1).
The Lady Lions will begin their road trip in Dallas, Texas on Friday at 6 p.m. against a familiar opponent; DBU. The Lady Lions have a long history of playing against DBU. Historically, UAFSÂ is 10-0 in the last ten matchups against DBU. The Lady Lions will be looking to continue their streak and remain undefeated in the conference play.Â
The second match of the weekend for the Lady Lions will be in Stephensville, Texas against Tarleton State on Saturday at 2 p.m.Â
In both of these matches, the Lady Lions will be led by their senior outside hitter
Anna Demmer (160 kills), senior setter
Amanda Van Wyk (430 assists), and junior middle hitter
Lexie Johnston (42 blocks). Defensively,
Lexy Lewis (163) and
