Youngblood, last year's Conference Freshman of the Year, averaged 29.5 points, 4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game during the Lions' two games last week -- an 86-40 win against Northeastern State and a 111-106 triple overtime loss to No. 10-ranked and defending national champion Central Missouri.

He shot 61 percent from the field, 63 percent from 3-point range and 87 percent from the free-throw line. Against unbeaten Central Missouri, Youngblood scored a career-high and school-record 48 points and made a career-high and school single-game record 9 3-pointers.

He was named Heartland Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
