Sophomore libero Emily Tripp was named Heartland Conference Libero of the Week for her performance in the Lady Lions' pivotal four-set win against St. Edward's on Saturday.

She helped UAFS clinch no less than a share of its third-consecutive, regular-season conference title with the win against St. Edward’s and helped the Lady Lions sweep the regular-season series against the Hilltoppers.

It is the seventh time for Tripp, who is from Shawnee, Kan., to earn the honor this season. Tripp averaged 8.5 digs per set during the win that secured UAFS the right to host the conference tournament for the third-consecutive season.
