Freshman setter Bailey Katzfey was named Heartland Conference Setter of the Week for her performances in the Lady Lions' sweeps of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and second-place Lubbock Christian.

It was the third time for Katzfey, who is from Lee’s Summit, Mo., to earn the honor.

She averaged 11.5 assists during the wins and compiled a 0.375 hitting percentage with 4 kills in 8 attempts with only 1 error. She also had 10 digs and 1 block assist for the first-place Lady Lions.
