Freshman setter Bailey Katzfey was named Heartland Conference Setter of the Week.

It was the second time for Katzfey to earn the honor. Katzfey, who is from Lee’s Summit, Mo., had 38 assists and averaged 12.7 assists per set. She also had 3.7 digs per set.

UAFS (12-3, 6-0) will return to conference play at 7 p.m. on Thursday when it hosts St. Mary’s at the Stubblefield Center. It will be the first match of a three-match homestand for the Lady Lions, who host Texas A&M International at noon on Saturday and Newman at 7 p.m. on Oct. 7.
