Powell batted 0.384 (5 for 13) with a double, a grand slam and five RBIs during the Lions' 9-3 nonconference loss to UAM and 2-1 series win against St. Edward's this past weekend. During the Lions' 10-6 win in the final game of the series, Powell had two hits during the Lions' 10-run, fifth inning -- a grand slam and a RBI single.
