Floyd tossed a five-hit, complete-game shutout to lead UAFS to a 4-0 win in the second game of its four-game series against St. Edward's, which the Lions won 3-1 (3-2 W, 4-0 W, 11-2 L, 9-8 W).

Floyd posted his staff-leading sixth win of the season and his staff-leading fourth complete game.

He did not allow an extra-base hit, walked only one and struck out seven over seven innings.
