Senior outside hitter Kennedi Coleman was named Heartland Conference Hitter of the Week for her performance during the Lady Lions' wins against Harding, Newman and Texas A&M-Commerce last week.

Coleman, who is the reigning Conference Offensive Player of the Year, collected 53 kills and averaged 4.42 kills per set. She also had five digs and had 10 total blocks – one solo block and nine block assists.

It was the first time this season the Dallas, Texas, native has earned the honor.
