UAFS' Anne Stiles held off a strong challenge from Rogers State's Mica Eastin during Tuesday's final round of the Lions Classic to win the two-day, seven-team event by one stroke at Fort Smith's Hardscrabble Country Club.

Stiles held a five-stroke lead over Eastin after Monday's opening round, shooting a 1-over par 71 to secure the lead going into the final round. Eastin whittled away at her deficit during the final round, shooting a low-round 1-under 69, but Stiles turned in a 3-over 73 to thwart Eastin's rally.

Stiles shot a 4-over 144 for the classic.

Eastin's rally, however, helped the Hillcats capture the overall team championship. Rogers State shot a 44-over 604 (308-296) to edge UAFS by just 10 strokes. The Lady Lions shot a 54-over 614 (312-302).
